I am writing to introduce Whimsy and Pique, my new monthly newsletter. I’m not
entirely sure where this project will go, but there will be essays, and maybe poetry, and maybe other things…
I aim for nothing less than to bewitch you, inspire you, and get your emotions flowing….
As Mary Oliver writes:

Will you join me at the window? Can I offer words to wake to? This is my hope.
I am an educator, single mom of 3, mediator and aspiring meditator, civil rights lawyer, and writer. I’m a literal and figurative leftie, seeker and finder of Beauty, avid walker, reading addict, baking amateur, and Scrabble fiend. Opinions, thoughts, and musings are very much my own, but feel free to adopt and/or quote them. Whatever the journey brings, I’m glad to have you with me.
